16 Nov COORDINATION VISIT TO SİNOP

The coordination visit to Sinop was realized by Ferhat Özgür, conducting artist of the artist-in-residence program in Sinop, accompanied by Recep Tuna, member of the project team in November 13-16, 2019. The program of the visit was formed in collaboration with Sinop Sustainable Development Association.

Meetings were held with the Culture Director of Sinop Municipality, Acting Dean of Sinop University Faculty of Fine Arts, Deputy Governor and Deputy Mayor of Sinop and they all were informed about the project. Sinop Archaeology Museum, Historical Sinop Prison, Historical Sinop Mansion, Hamsilos and Akliman are among the most significant historical and natural sites of Sinop that were visited. The first Lakerda (salted bonito) Festival of Sinop organized by the Culture and Tourism Association was also attended.
