11 Sep COORDINATION VISIT TO NEVŞEHİR

A visit was paid to Nevşehir between September 9th and 11th, 2019, by the conducting artist of Daire Nevşehir Artist-in-Residence Program, Aydın Teker accompanied by Şafak Ersözlü, member of the project team. The purpose of the visit was to determine the needs of the upcoming artist-in-residence program in the city.

Meetings were held with Nevşehir Metropolitan Municipality, Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University, Ortahisar Municipality and Ürgüp Municipality. Culture and performance venues in the districts of Ortahisar, Avanos, Ürgüp, Göreme were also visited.

In light of the meetings, visits and project specifications, it was decided to implement the artist-in-residence program in Ortahisar. The necessary permits were asked from Ortahisar Municipality. The required materials for the program were determined.
