21 Oct COORDINATION VISIT TO MERSIN

The visit to Mersin was realized by Murat Germen, conducting artist of the Daire Mersin Artist-in-Residence Program, accompanied by Şafak Ersözlü, member of the project team on October 19-21, 2019. Mezitli Municipality, Soli Pompeiopolis Ancient City and Mersin Cemetery were visited. A meeting was held with Yenişehir Municipality Cultural Affairs Directorate. A meeting was realized with Mersin based artists and artists’ studios were visited. An idea about creating trail map for the artists’ venues was generated and it was discussed that this map could be printed by Yenişehir Municipality. Yenişehir Municipality offered the Atatürk Culture Center as a workshop and exhibition space for the project.
