11 Nov DAİRE ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE PROGRAM EXPERIENCE / SHARING DAYS
Within the context of Daire Artist-in-Residence Program, artist-in-residence programs were implemented in 9 cities of Turkey, namely Çanakkale, Diyarbakır, Hatay, İstanbul, İzmir, Mardin, Mersin, Nevşehir and Sinop.
With the physical and online participation of conducting and participating artists-in-residence who took part in these programs, K2 project team, project partners and associates, Daire Experience/ Sharing Days were organized in İzmir-Urla between October 1st and 11th, 2020. This activity, which constituted as the last phase of the programs, also served as a platform where project outputs as well as artist-in-residence programs were evaluated in online talks.
The gathering which was realized with limited participation and as closed to audience due to precautions for preventing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, was partially organized online and meticulously documented to be shared with a larger audience.
During the activity, the works conducted and experiences gained in each of the 9 cities were delivered through presentations and performances by related artists, project partners and associates. Additionally, the online talks below mentioned were streamed live on the YouTube channel of K2 Contemporary Art Center and their recordings were shared with the audience via the channel.
